Madonna’s latest track entitled ‘Girl Gone Wild,’ which was produced by Benny Benassi, might be in a little bit of trouble. Madonna has been threatened with legal action by Joe Francis, creator of the ‘Girls Gone Wild’ DVD series, over an alleged trademark infringement. Joe Francis had this to say to TMZ,

Clearly her label was trying to avoid legal action surrounding the song. But ‘Girl Gone Wild’ is still infringement as far as the law is concerned, and we have been in touch with Madonna’s people in an effort to resolve the issue

As of right now, Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary is saying that nobody from their team has been notified about this and that Madonna was unaware of the situation. Stay tuned for more information on this and check out the ‘Girl Gone Wild’ video below.
