During the 2012 Grammy Awards pre-telecast, Sonny Moore aka Skrillex, was awarded 3 Grammy’s for Best Dance/Electronica Album for “Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites,” Best Dance Recording for “Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites,” and Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for the remix of Benny Benassi’s track “Cinema.”

When Skrillex was awarded his first Grammy for Best Remixed Recording, he thanked the EDM community and talked about how far EDM has come.
