Spotify has launched an updated version of its desktop application which will allow for gapless playback that will eliminate the pauses between tracks. In addition to the new gapless playback, Spotify has also added a crossfading option which will give users the ability to start a new track before the current one finishes. All of these new features will give users and DJs a better experience when playing at parties and events. Along with new playback options, Spotify has also updated their user interface, added faster artist browsing, and now allows you to restore/save the “now playing” queue.
