A few weeks ago, EDMbiz announced the first ever Insomniac Discovery Project. The project was described as a way to reflect the powerful creative undercurrent of aspiring DJ/producers. Insomniac asked budding DJs to send them something original for the chance to perform at EDC Vegas. Well today, Insomniac released the official list of winners that will be hitting the Discovery Stage at this years event.

We called out to the inspired and aspiring, and so many of you answered. We put our ear to the ground for those with their hearts in the music, and we found a world of creativity and passion.

Check out the winners below and make sure to support your favorite artist this coming weekend in Las Vegas. Insomniac will be watching to see which act tears up the stage and has the potential to be invited to play at Nocturnal Wonderland 2012.
